This is not an official offering yet, only an example of an idea that we have here. Looking for any input and interest level. The challenges will be a one day competition on the thursday of the challenge weeks. This will give everyone some days to figure out which fish they have the best chance of getting points with. Please keep in mind that the primary focus of these weeks is not for someone to get a free weeks stay, but mostly to have fun and to learn from your fellow guests new fishing strategies. In the process it will give everyone a chance to experience the quality fishing that we have on a variety of fish on Lake Bemidji.
Point System
System is based on a full limit being equal to 1 point.
Example: Walleye limit of 6 would equal 1 point, but if only 2 fish would equal .33 of a point. If a person has a full limit of crappie (1 point) and 2 walleyes, they would end up with 1.33 points.

Walleye 3
Crappie 5
Northern 2
Bass 2
Muskie 1 (counts as 2 points though)
CATCH AND RELEASE RULE
If you would like to choose to release the larger fish, only 1 will count if a picture is taken and developed by the following morning. Must be wearing shirt that is provided for the challenge to have picture qualify. If you happen to catch more than 1, congrats, but only 1 will count towards your limit.
FREE WEEK STAY POLICY
Free week stay is based on resort being full for the week, and at least 1 person from each cabin fishing in the challenge. If full than the winning person will get there portion of their cabin fee refunded to them. If not full the refunded amount will be prorated
Example: If the person stayed in a cabin that was $539 for the week and there was 2 people from that cabin fishing, that person would get refunded $269.50. If the person was the only one in the cabin fishing, they would get the whole $539 refunded.

All dates will start at 6 a.m. and end at 9:30 p.m.
